The “Integrated and Wireless Systems” Business Unit, based in Neuchâtel, Switzerland is looking for a RF IC Design Engineer.

Your mission

Join our dynamic team of experienced and emerging RF and Timing IC designers in the role of an RF IC design engineer. Design RF integrated circuits as part of our different platforms covering narrowband and ultrawideband communications, RADAR, and precision time keeping. Your responsibilities

  • Specification, modeling, design, schematic capture, simulation, layout, validation, documentation and characterization of analog, RF and mixed-signal circuits. Occasionally, perform the chip assembly, top-level verification, and related documentation.
  • Spontaneously interaction with other members within a project team and with customers or design partners when needed.
  • Support to acquisition process by providing technical information for business proposals and effort estimation of the project tasks.
  • Participation on the definition of the strategy and technical roadmap of the group.
  • Reporting of project results and status in a clear and concise manner, both internally and externally.
  • Internal and external disseminate, through publications, talks and patent submissions.

 

Your profile

Know-how

  • MSc or PhD degree in EE (electronics, microelectronics)
  • Strong academic record, with a history of outstanding performance in relevant coursework.
  • Foundational understanding of IC design and RF principles, with the potential to learn and apply these concepts effectively.
  • Experience with IC design simulation tools, showcasing an ability to work with relevant software for design and analysis.
  • Familiarity with fundamental signal processing concepts, demonstrating the capacity for further development.
  • Basic proficiency in programming languages like Python or MATLAB for basic data analysis and simulations.
  • Experience with the complete ASIC design flow (specification, architecture choice, design and layout, verification, and characterization) and documentation best practices.
  • Experience with low-power and low-noise analog and RF integrated circuits design

Fluency in English, with French and German also being valued
